Pictures of the classroom and a little more

This is the second school I was teaching at. Grades 4-6th. I think this is the fourth grade. It was Karima, Suzanna, and I, plus we had a T2T intern Nam to help us out. Nam was the only adult who spoke Thai, the teachers let us have the class to our self.

Here I am calling on someone.

Writing on a chalk board isn't fun. I got nice and white from it.

Another day at the front of the class.

The director of our school took us out to lunch with directors from other schools. It was slightly awkward when only the director and Nam spoke both English and Thai. Suzanna in the black shirt and Karima in the blue shirt our standing next to the director. It was good food though, but the conversation wasn't that great between us and the other directors.

I was in Nong Khai for the festive Loi Kratong. We went out with the director and one of the classes to float our Kratongs. Later in the day I made my own and floated it at night.

Left to right: one of the teachers, Karima, the director, Suzanna, Nam, and Me with our bought Kratongs and big Kratongs in the background.

Nina, me, and Valerie on top of one of the temples that has a big Buddha on top.

This was the big Buddha on the temple.

Here I am with some of the fourth graders.
