I've made it to Laos. Right now I am in the capitol (and can't remember how to spell it, plus i don't have my book with me). I think that i won't be posting as much for a little while. I need to figure things out and make it to the farm in Vang Vieng.
While crossing into Laos I met two woman from Germany. They are about my age and met on the internet. They both didn't have anyone to go with so that's how they met up. I'm staying with them for tonight and maybe tomorrow. It was so nice to have someone else to figure out where to stay and what not. I would have been in tears and was already overwhelmed when I had two other people to go with.
The money is very confusing to me... I had Thai baht down and now to try and master the kip.
My plan as of right now is to stay in the capital till Sunday. Joe W.'s brother will be meeting me tomorrow and it's my plan to hang with him while I am here. I think the German girls will only been here a day or two.
The capitol isn't want I was expecting... but then again I'm really not sure what I was expecting.
I'm excited to get to the farm and to settle into my daily routine.

I'm glad you're meeting Joe's bro. Maybe he can show you around and help you learn the ropes. You're doing good Amy. Send a pic of Joe's bro!
Cheers
